Growing Concerns Over Recalls in the Consumer Goods Industry

New research confirms that Canadian consumers react to news about recalled goods and have concerns over products they purchase in-store or on-line, but have no means to communicate their thoughts. Consumers do not feel that contacting manufacturers for product replacements and returns is adequate in those situations as they either do not receive timely service or they do not receive information about safety issues that might arise from product recalls.
